ok, so first i'd like to catch up on what d&k were up to on saturday the 21st of february. one word (well for me) can describe the vibe of it all. actually two words. home & heaven.
home because i have never felt more fit in within people. skaters, their families, their friends, these people are so free within the world. they are real. they are who they are, and dont try to be any less or any more. i felt like i didnt have to be ashamed of humanity. these people are home. and for heaven, well, boys boys boys. does that say much? haha.

Feist. where do i begin, really. amazing. if i had to describe them, amazing. they make music look like that maths formula even mathematicians cant figure out, still crave to get it right. the geniuses of music. amazing i tell you. they did that song 1,2,3,4 , but their music is so beyond that, ,especially live. recording it doesn't do them justice. i was watching a show on abc2 called 'beautiful noise', which i recommend anyone who loves different and unique music played live to watch. i came across Feist. i couldn't believe i was missing such music. annoying really. but Feist came across to me like a mixture of Goldfrap, tid of Bjork, Sade, maybe a little Beck. just beautiful. they also play a lot of acoustics, which are my favourites. but i seriously (not wanting to sound like a freak) almost cried at the beauty of the music. i am grateful to come across such music before i die. while in the dying topic, it is now a wish before i die to go to one of their concerts, as they sound sooo much better live, seriously, now there's good, good, real music.
so, being my artist of the week, here is a video
that i really liked from them when played live.
i love it how she involves the audience. =)
oh, i found a site called BIGSTEREO which you should
definately bookmark it, cause they have free music
you can upload there. from jamms, indie dance,
to robot rock and party rap. =D cool shiz.
